Linda M. Wilde-Diamond

October 18, 1949 — April 24, 2022

   Linda Marie Wilde-Diamond, 72, of Sioux city passed away on Sunday April 24, 2022 surrounded by her family at a local hospital.

   Services will be at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel on Saturday April 30th at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service with the family present. The luncheon will be at Faith Lutheran Church at 3101 Hamilton Blvd immediately after the funeral. Burial will be at a later date.

   Linda was born in New Malden Surrey, England on October 18, 1949, the daughter of Fredrick Newby and Elizabeth Pantoja. Linda came to the United States of America in 1962 with her mother and eight of her siblings on the Queen Mary.

   In 1967, she met and married Merle Wilde and to this union two sons Brian and Keith Wilde we born. She married Richard Crum in 1980 and to this union one son Joseph Crum was born. In 1998, she met and married the love of her life Marvin Diamond.

   Linda worked for Zenith till they closed, then ran a daycare out of her home for more than 20 years till she retired.

   Linda loved watching TV, reading romance novels, listening to music and spending as much time as she could with her family whom she deeply loved.

   She is survived by her husband Marvin Diamond, her children Brian (Shauna) Wilde, Keith Wilde, Joseph Crum (Randi Clause); her stepchildren Tina (Mike) Davis, Brian Diamond (Becky Daniel), Lindzy (Darin) Foster, Desiree (Adam) Johnson, Owen (Stephanie) Diamond; seventeen grandchildren Amanda Lockwood-Lenig, Brian Jr, Carter, Alexis, Keaton, Neveah Wilde, Caleb, Cameron, Kaydence Crum, Trystan, Rylie, Camyren McNaughton, Syenna and Loghyn Foster, Ben, Wesley and Resse Johnson; seven great grandchildren Dean, Wyatt and Irene McPeek, Korra, Reyes and Emerix Wilde, and Nyx Albrandt; a niece that she considered her daughter as well Andrea (Carey) McClure; nine siblings Tony, Michelle, Phillip, Mark (Michele Barnes), Kevin (Susan) Newby, Susan Prince, Patricia Christian, Francis (Brian) Wetzbarger-Buckmeier and Chantel Pantoja; several cousins; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; and ex-husband Merle Wilde

   Linda was preceded in death by her parents Fredrick and Elizabeth; two sisters Elizabeth Newby and Maria Harding; one granddaughter Kaydence Foster; and ex-husband Richard Crum.

   Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Jr, Keaton and Carter Wilde, and Caleb and Cameron Crum.
