Lisa Marie Gatzemeyer

Lisa Marie Gatzemeyer, 58, of Hubbard, NE, passed away October 4, 2022 at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8^th at 11:00 a.m. at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Private burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hubbard, NE.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lisa was born on March 31, 1964, in Sioux City IA to Raymond Sr. and Patricia (Coan) Gatzemeyer.  She was united in marriage to Robert Odom June 27th, 1980 where they were blessed with one child, Keith Odom. They later divorced in 1987.

Lisa enjoyed her working as a cashier at Pronto and a cook at Hardees for several years before she retired. Her hobbies included: shooting pool, hanging with family, playing cards, bingo, camping, fishing, watching golf and football, and taking care for dogs.

She is preceded in death by her son Duane, her parents: Raymond Gatzemeyer Sr. and mother Patricia Gatzemeyer; grandparents Francis and Beverly Coan, Alvia and Hazel Gatzemeyer, brother: Raymond Gatzemeyer Jr., sister Theresa Gatzemeyer and nephew Raymond Gatzemeyer, and aunts and uncles.

Those left to honor her memory includes her son, Keith and Tasha Odom of Emerson, NE; siblings: Deanna Woehler and husband Bill of SSC, Steve Gatzemeyer Sr. and wife Stephanie of SSC., Rick Gatzemeyer and wife Johnette of SSC., Ann Gilmore of Fl., Gerry Gatzemeyer and wife Michelle of Sioux City, Iowa, Tammi Seger of Fl. and Billy Joe Gatzemeyer of Fl. and his girlfriend Jessica Denney of Correctionville IA; grandsons: Trae and Braden Odom; and several nieces and nephews.
