Lisa M. Lacy

Lisa M. Lacy, 58, of Sioux City, IA passed away October 14, 2021 at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 19 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church.  Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lisa was born on November 23, 1962 in Council Bluffs, IA to Robert and Dorothy (Smith) Cook.  After high school, she went on to attend some college.  She was united in marriage to Clifton “Jim” Lacy on July 4, 2007.  She enjoyed dogs, puzzles and doing crafts.  In her younger years she worked as a bartender and waitress.  Later she worked as an activity coordinator for the Gospel Mission where she was always helping people.  She especially loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Jim Lacy, Sioux City, IA; children: Mickayla Lacy, Jerod Lacy, Clifton Lacy III, and Michelle Lacy, all of Sioux City; grandkids: Karter, Jaxon, Noah, Serenity, Damien, Duncan, John, Faith and Kyle; brothers: Kenny Cook, Council Bluffs, IA and Sam Cook, Omaha, NE.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tom Cook.
