Blair, 68, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at a local hospital.Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on SATURDAY, JULY 8, 2017 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home.Louise was born in Sioux City, IA on March 31, 1949, the daughter of Leo and Marcella (Todd) Blair. She grew up in Hubbard and graduated from Emerson-Hubbard High School in 1967. Following her graduation, her family moved to South Sioux City and she worked at Tyson for nearly 40 years, before retiring for health reasons.Louise was a member of and served as Union Steward for UCFW Local 222. She was a huge sports fan and followed all Husker sports, Green Bay Packers football, and Musketeers hockey. She also enjoyed collecting Koala bear memorabilia.Survivors include her sisters, Maralyn (Joe) Grimoskas and Rita Schlotman of Sioux City, IA and Laura Blair Greason of Lincoln, NE; a nephew, C.J. Grimoskas; an aunt and uncle; and many cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Marcella Blair; and a brother, Wayne Blair.
