Margaret "Maggie" R. Dirks

Margaret R. "Maggie" Dirks, 61, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at a local hospital.Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.Maggie was born on April 19, 1957 in Wakefield, NE, the daughter of Henry and Goldie (Novak) Voss. She graduated from Emerson-Hubbard High School in 1975 and attended Wayne State College. She married Randy Dirks on July 23, 1982 in Emerson, NE and they were blessed with 3 children.Survivors include two daughters, Jacque and her husband, Patrick Kelly of Brooklet, GA, Jimi and her husband, Brandon Byrnes of Statesboro, GA; a son, John Dirks of South Sioux City, NE; five grandchildren, Caleb, Christopher, Anita, Claire, and Randilynn; siblings, Marlene (Rocky) Finley of Hemet, CA, Milan (Carol) Voss, and Myron Voss all of Waterbury, NE, Mardell (John) Heinemann of Hubbard, NE, and Marcia (Charles) Carlson of Longmont, CO.She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Dirks; and her parents, Henry and Goldie Voss.
