Margaret M. McKenna

Margaret M. McKenna, 86, of South Sioux City passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Margaret was born on August 23, 1935 in Sioux City, to Bert and Ruth (Bloomfield) McKenna.

She worked as a clerk for Lipman’s, for TG&Y, and Holiday Inn.

Left to cherish her memory include her sister, Connie Quade (Lee); nieces and nephews she was known as “Aunt Sis” to: Haley Backman, John and Noelle (Vondrak) Quade, Jessica (Quade) and Charlie Daigle; and a great-nephew, her “little character” Leo Quade.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Ruth; and a sister, Retta Preston.
