Marie M. Miralles

Marie M. Miralles, 64, of South Sioux City, NE passed away at a Sioux City, IA hospital on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.Marie was born in Chicago, IL on April 14, 1948, the daughter of Alphonse and Clara (Di Pasquale) Santaniello. She graduated from high school in Chicago. She then moved to Chatsworth, CA. She married Frederick Miralles in Westlake Village, CA on June 2, 1984. She worked as a Secretary for the City of Long Beach. After the death of her husband on September 26, 2011, she moved to Crofton, NE to live with her daughters.Marie was a loving wife and mother. She loved watching the Dodgers.Survivors include two daughters, Taylor Miralles, and her fianc, Steve Anthony of Crofton, NE and Morgan Miralles of South Sioux City, NE; her mother, Clara Santaniello and two sisters, Phyllis Santaniello and Clare Santaniello, and her husband, Gary Shapiro, all of California; and 3 nephews.Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Miralles; one son, Collen Miralles; her father, Alphonse Santaniello; and her brother, Alan Santaniello.
