Marjorie Dupic, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Gimbal) Hermann was born on November 30, 1927 in Yankton, South Dakota and went home to her Lord and Savior on February 9, 2020, at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa at the age of 92. Services will take place at Faith Lutheran Church in Sioux City on Wednesday, February 19th. Visitation at 10:00 am, services at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon. Burial will take place after the luncheon at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Marge attended school in Yankton, South Dakota and graduated from high school in 1946. She married Kenneth S. Dupic on June 1, 1947. They moved to Sioux City in 1953. Marge was a homemaker and mother to her five children. When her children were in high school and later, she worked at Zenith, Banks of Iowa, Floyd Baseball Complex. For the last twenty years of her working life, she worked in food service at Sioux City Public Schools for 20 years, retiring at the age of 80.

Marge was a longtime member of Concordia Lutheran Church and then Faith Lutheran Church, both in Sioux City. She was active in various roles at her churches. Some of her hobbies included tending her beautiful flower gardens, reading, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, and quilting.

She is survived by her five children, Kelley and his wife Patti of Sioux City, Marsha and her husband Larry Roth of Conway, South Carolina, Susan and her husband Dave Everton of Sioux City, Rick and his wife Carol of Spencer, Iowa, and Don of Sioux City. She had nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her parents, and two brothers – Ray and Delmar.

Pallbearers are her grandsons: Luke Dupic, Ryan Dupic, Kyle Dupic, Tim Everton, Matthew Roth, and Chris Taylor. Honorary pall bearer is Scott Everton.
