Marsha Jane Trowbridge

April 2, 1942 — November 30, 2020

Marsha Jane Trowbridge, 78, of Sioux City, passed away November 30, 2020 at a care center in Papillion, NE.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Morningside Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.  To live stream the service, please copy and paste the link https://youtu.be/36Axjq5Zy-E

Marsha was born on April 2, 1942 in Sioux City, IA to Harold and Beverly (Metteer) Belt.   After graduating high school, she worked at several places doing bookkeeping and accounting.  Those included: Security National Bank, Younkers and Lindweld.  She was united in marriage to Roger Trowbridge on August 20, 1960 in Sioux City, IA.  He preceded her in death in 2007.  After his death she moved to Bellevue, NE.  Marsha was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church, and enjoyed playing cards, cooking and baking.

Survivors include her children: a daughter and her husband, Bobbette and Ken Brown of Bellevue, Neb.; two sons, Mark Trowbridge and his wife, Cheryl of Johnston, Iowa, and Kevin Trowbridge of Sioux City; and five grandchildren, Andy (Tera) Brown, Angie (Casey) Culbertson, Colton, Michael and Miranda Trowbridge; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Bill (Linda) Belt, Jack (Nora) Metteer, Jim Metteer, Dick (Clara) Metteer, and Joe (Diana) Metteer, all of Council Bluffs, IA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
