Martha Denise Stair

   Martha Denise (Elsberg) Stair, 71, of Sioux City passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019, at Countryside Health Care Center in Sioux City.

   Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Independent Farane with Rabbi Guy Greene officiating.   Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

   Martha Denise, the daughter of Sam and Evelyn (Jacobs) Elsberg, was born January 22, 1948, in Sioux City.  She grew up and attended school in Sioux City.  She graduated from Central High School in 1967.

   Martha was wonderful mother to her two children: Elizabeth and Scott.  The family made their home in Sioux City.

   Martha was loved by many and had many friends.  She loved music and volunteered at Mercy Medical Center for eleven years.   She was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom.  Martha truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

   She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Taibleson of Sioux City; one son, Scott Stair of Sioux Falls and one brother, Russ Elsberg.

   She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sheila Elsberg.
