Martin F. Santee, 65, of South Sioux City, NE passed away at a Sioux City hospital on Monday, December 31, 2012.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Pastor Gretchen Ritola officiating. Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery in Dakota City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Martin was born in Sioux City, IA on July 26, 1947, the son of Martin and Dorothy (Fowler) Santee. He attended Lewis and Clark School in South Sioux City, NE, then worked as a janitor at New Perspective.He was a WWE wrestling fan, a Nebraska Husker fan, and he loved to go fishing.Survivors include his brother, Jim (Teresa) Santee; sister, Betty (Dave) Laumbach; and half-brother, John Saltzman, all of South Sioux City, NE; sister-in-law, Pat Saltzman of North Sioux City, SD; and many nieces and nephews.Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Dorothy Santee; half-sister, Luella "Rose" Reese; half-brother, Tom Saltzman, Sr; sister-in-law, Virgnia Saltzman; half-brother and sister-in-law, LeRoy and Carol Santee; nephew, Timmy Saltzman; and great-nephew, Jeremy Combs.
