Mary E. Hinkle

Mary E. Hinkle, 75, of South Sioux City, NE passed away at a local hospital on Saturday, June 15, 2013.Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Pastor Bob Rook of Peace Reformed Church in Sioux City, IA officiating. Burial will be in the Hill-Crest Cemetery in Decatur, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at the funeral home at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Online condolences to the family may be posted at www.mohrfuneralhome.com.Mary was born in Decatur NE on January 12, 1938, the daughter of William and Mabel (Rhodus) Jump. She grew up in the Macy area and graduated from Winnebago High School in 1956. She married Franklin Hinkle on August 11, 1956. The couple moved to South Sioux City, NE. Mary worked at Dakota County Bank, Siouxland National Bank and the Dakota County Clerk's Office before the couple went into the motel management business, managing motels in Grand Forks, ND and Williamsburg, IA. They then spent time in South Sioux City in the summers and Arizona in the winters before moving back to South Sioux City six years ago.Mary was active at Hope Lutheran Church and their Ladies Aid. She enjoyed camping, flowers, bowling, playing bingo and cards, spending time with her family, and she loved to laugh.Survivors include her husband, Franklin Hinkle of South Sioux City, NE; children, Dawn (Rick) Bousquet of South Sioux City, NE and Kenneth (Anne) Hinkle of Towanda, KS; grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Bousquet, Stephanie (Matt) Ott, Tyler (Kayla) Bousquet, all of South Sioux City, NE, Kristopher Bousquet of Lincoln, NE, Alex and Lizzie Clemens of Benton, KS; great grandchildren, Kyia Ott, Jaedyn, Jemma, Julianne, Lucas and Lillian Bousquet and Pierce Clemens; sister, Dorothy Nottleman of Decatur, NE; brothers, Dick (Arlene) Jump and Cliff Jump, all of Walthill, NE; and several nieces and nephews.Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel Jump; one granddaughter, Nicole Bousquet; and five brothers.
