Maxine B. Lamprecht

Maxine B. Lamprecht, 92, formerly of Ponca, and living at the Wakefield Care Center, was reunited with Babe on December 16, 2015.Services was at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca, NE with Rev. Peter Speiser officiating. Burial will be in Silver Ridge Cemetery in rural Ponca. Visitation was 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca.Maxine was born near Ponca, NE on October 11, 1923, the daughter of Renee and Elizabeth (Williamson) Russell. She was united in marriage with Carl "Babe" Lamprecht on August 26, 1940 in Sioux City. Babe preceded her in death on October 9, 1998. She lived her entire life in the Ponca area.She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.Maxine is survived by her children, Janice Taylor and her husband, Dale of Allen, NE, Judy Lamprecht of Ponca, NE and Gary Lamprecht and his wife, Jody of Wakefield, NE; a sister, Lucille Buettner of Anthon, IA; a sister-in-law, Anne Lamprecht of Newcastle, NE; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandkids.Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Babe; a sister, Pauline Harrison; and her son, Denny.
