Maxine Deloris Reising, 79, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Good News Baptist Church with Pastor John Woodford officiating. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Maxine Deloris, the daughter of Edward Joseph and Edna Evelyn (Kratz) Jolin, was born November 20, 1941 in Sioux City, IA. Maxine grew up in Sioux City and she attended St. Boniface Catholic School.
On July 22, 1960, Maxine was united in marriage to Frank G. Reising in Elk Point, SD and this union was blessed with four children. The family made their home in Sioux City then moved to Davenport, IA and returned back to Sioux City in 1982. When Maxine was in her 50’s, she proudly received her G.E.D. which led her to receive her cosmetology and C.N.A. licenses. In 2005, Maxine moved to Niobrara, NE and worked with her sister in their family business Niobrara Trading Post. She recently moved back to Sioux City.
Maxine was a very crafty person and she loved watching movies.
She is survived by three children: Frank G. Reising Jr. of Sioux City, Jimmy (Kimberly) Reising of Sioux City, and JoLinn (Greg) Hensley of Ventura, CA; ten grandchildren: Garret, Nicole, and Breanna Reising, Zach, Cody, and Riley Reising, Jimmy John, Jenna, and Jordan Reising, and Austin Hayes; two great grandchildren: Caidence and Brixton Reising; one brother, Donny Jolin of Sioux City; two sisters: Rozann Graves of Niobrara, NE and Terry Speer of Indianapolis, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank on December 30, 1987; one son, Merrill Reising; granddaughter, Jessica Reising; and three sisters: Charmaine, Donna, and Elaine.
Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel assisted with arrangements.
