Michael J. Albers, 59, of Sioux City passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at a local hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Whitfield United Methodist Church in Sioux City. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com. Michael was born on December 3, 1963 in Sioux City, to Richard J. Albers and Joan Skare. He graduated from Lawton Bronson High School. He owned and operated Albers Construction. Michael served in the United States Army for several years. He is survived by his fiancé, Kimberly Rother; mother, Joan (Johnson) Skare; brothers: Dan Johnson and Mark Albers; and several other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Albers; grandparents; and a nephew, Glenn Roth, Jr. Memorials can be directed to Michael’s family for future designation.
