Miguel Angel Silvas-Sanchez, 17, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 following an automobile accident in Sioux City, IA.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE with Father David Fulton officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer vigil at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.Miguel was born on March 3, 1999 in Mankato, MN, the son of Jose Silvas-Rodriguez and Norma Sanchez-Rodriguez. The family moved to South Sioux City in 2009 and Miguel attended South Sioux City High School. He enjoyed music, soccer, football and taking selfies. He was the family clown and would make everyone smile.Survivors include his father, Jose Silvas-Rodriguez; his mother and step-father, Norma Sanchez and Jose Deluna; grandfather, Manuel Sanchez; siblings, Fabian, Ruben, Yesenia, Claudia, Jose, Eric and Arturo; 6 nieces and 9 nephews.He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sara Rodriguez; and his grandmother and grandfather Silvas.
