Minnie L. Woten, 76 of South Sioux City, NE passed away Tuesday evening, September 14, 2010 at the Pender Care Center in Pender, NE, after a long illness.Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Dakota City Cemetery in Dakota City, NE with Pastor Michael Ring from Glad Tidings Lighthouse officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.Minnie was born March 8, 1934 in Macy, NE, the daughter of Chris and Daisy (Hulit) Hittle. She married John H. Woten on March 1, 1952 in Walthill, NE. She was a housewife. She enjoyed listening to old country music, and in her younger years, she enjoyed playing guitar and piano.She is survived by her husband, John Woten; two sons, Johnny and his wife, Debbie Woten, and Tom Woten, all of South Sioux City; two brothers, Elmer Hittle of Tekamah, NE and Dave & his wife, Joyce Hittle of Lyons, NE; one sister, Patty and her husband, Dave Denton of Craig, NE; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews..She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Hittle; and one sister, Betty Nieman.
