Mouan Bounchanh

Mouan Bounchanh, 70, of Dakota City, NE passed away at the Elms Health Care Center in Ponca, NE on Friday, December 6, 2013.Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Prayers for Mouan will be said at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the funeral home.Mouan was born on June 4, 1943 with Father and Mother Bounchanh in Saiyaburee, Laos and he grew up there. He married with Mrs. Soi Bounchanh. They had six children; three sons and three daughters. He was a farmer, farming with his family until 1978. He moved to Thailand in 1978. In 1989 he came to the United States as a refugee with his family.
