Myrna was born July 24th, 1933 in Sioux City. She was the daughter of William and Ethel (Swanson) Polly and a lifetime resident of Sioux City. Myrna graduated from Central High School in 1951 and shortly after married ‘the boy next door’ - Wilbur “Bill” Tuttle. They wed November 24, 1951 and four daughters soon followed in a span of five years. In 2017 they celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Myrna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Her daughters were her pride and joy and they kept her busy sewing beautiful dresses for all their special occasions. She adored her grandchildren and proudly displayed their photos on her “wall of fame”.

Myrna retired from work at the young age of 75 after 30 years with Dakota County State Bank. She was a long-time member of Westlawn Presbyterian Church and served there in many capacities. In her retirement, she created “Miss Mitts” recycled wool mittens, which have warmed the hands of many.

Myrna leaves behind a legacy of love. She will be remembered for her family Christmas celebrations, homemade pies, hand-made birthday cards and contagious sense of humor.

Myrna is survived by three daughters: Vickie (Mark) Anderson of Littleton, CO; Kathie (Timm) Banks of Westfield, IA; Terrie (Tom) West of Sioux City; son-in-law, Jerry Pospeshil of Sioux City; fourteen grandchildren, Jade (Shelly) Pospeshil, Jewell Pospeshil, Nikki Jones, Danni Giardino, James Knight, Heidi (Chad) Benson, Lindsey Walker, Dayton Mc Neil, Dayna Mc Neil, Derek Mc Neil, Erika (Eric) Jones-Banks, Ashley (Josh) Gnewuch, Abbie (Kevin) Hubert, and Shelbie (Derrick) Delaughter. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, daughter, Judie Pospeshil and grandson Jeret Pospeshil.

Special thanks to the Unity Point Floor 4A Medical Team for their compassionate care.
