Nancy A. Luesebrink

Nancy A. Luesebrink, 70, of Homer, NE passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at her residence while surrounded by her family.Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin one hour prior to the service.Nancy was born on August 4, 1946 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of David and Geraldine (Powell) Stewart. She graduated from South Sioux City High School, worked in area restaurants and then at Regency Square Care Center for the past several years prior to retiring. She married LeRoy Luesebrink on March 23, 1990 at Hope Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, NE. The couple lived in South Sioux City before settling in Homer.Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, going to auctions, playing Scrabble and Yahtzee and collecting rooster and chicken figurines.Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Luesebrink of Homer, NE; her son, Don (Robin) Stewart of Kansas City, KS; step-daughter, Linda Luesebrink of South Sioux City, NE; grandchildren, Brandon Stewart, Nikki Stewart, Amanda Stewart and Joseph Abousharkh; siblings David (Dorothy) Stewart, Carolyn Parrot, Terry Stewart, and Susan (Tom) Dahl; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Charlene Snyder of South Sioux City, NE.She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Geraldine Stewart.
