Nancy M. Rickwa, 63, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at her residence, while surrounded by her family.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE with Father David Fulton officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 7:00 P.M., preceded by reciting of the rosary on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.Nancy was born on May 10, 1953 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Harold and Hildegard (Koch) Andersen. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1971. Nancy married Louie Rickwa on October 28,1972 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE. They made their home in South Sioux City. Over the years Nancy worked as an aid for special needs children in the Sioux City School system. Louie passed away on November 14, 2010. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, boating, camping, and working on her home, in her yard and with her flowers.Survivors include her son, Damien (Amra) Rickwa and grandchildren, Kolten and Taelyn of Sarasota, FL; life partner and companion Craig A. Tuttle of South Sioux City, NE; her mother, Hildegard Andersen of South Sioux City, NE; a brother, Harold (Pamela) Andersen of Dakota City, NE; 2 sisters, Sharon Andersen of South Sioux City, NE and Michelle (Doug) Liston of Dakota City, NE; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Rickwa; her father, Harold Andersen; and a brother, Rodney Andersen.
