Nancy J. Timmons

Nancy J. Timmons passed away February 18, 2025 in Sioux City, lowa. A Memorial Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Holy Spirit Retirement Home Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:30 A.M. with a rosary at 10:10 A.M. Interment will be scheduled for later at the family resting place in Des Moines, Iowa.

Nancy was born in Dubuque, lowa. She was raised in Des Moines and attended Holy Trinity grade school and Dowling High School graduating in 1978.

Nancy graduated from DMACC with an associate degree. She worked at American Mutual Life and Pioneer.

Nancy enjoyed shopping, family gatherings, reading and decorating.

Nancy is survived by her children, Paige Delperdang and Grant Delperdang, Sioux City; sisters, Ann Timmons, Des Moines, and Mary Hoag (D.G.) Overland Park, KS; brother-in-law, John Opheim, Omaha; six nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Mary V. Timmons; sisters, Patricia A. Timmons and Laura R. Opheim; and brothers, William J. and Michael J. Timmons.
