Neill Miller

Donald N. "Neill" Miller, 81, of Jackson, NE passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018.Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Rev. Douglas Dill officiating. Visitation with the family present will begin at 12:30 P.M. Burial with military rites by the U.S. Navy will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA.Neill was born on July 14, 1936 in South Sioux City, NE, the son of William Henry and Mardine (Autzen) Miller. He graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959 and was awarded the Honorman. Neill married Nyla Jean Loseke at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, NE in 1962. He worked as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW Union Local 231. They moved to Jackson, NE in 1987.He enjoyed family, winters in Florida, being outdoors upriver at home, and driving around property on the "Putt".Neill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mardine Miller; his wife, Nyla Jean Miller; 2 brothers, Lester E. Miller and W.H. Miller, Jr.; sister, Gladys Chinn; son-in-law, Kenny Arnold; and brother-in-law, Claude Pinkley.Survivors include his children, Tony (Dixie) Miller, Teresa Arnold, Linn Miller, and Terri (Steve) Bauder; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margie.
