Norma Jean Dailey

Norma Jean Dailey, 83, of South Sioux City, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020.  Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery.

Norma was born the daughter of Marvin and LaVern (Clark) Phelps on May 14, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa.  She graduated from Heelan High School in 1955.  She then completed her CNA training.  Norma married John W. Dailey on July 26, 1956 in Danville, Kentucky. 

Norma worked at Younkers, MCI, IBP, and as a self-employed CNA over the years. 

Norma is survived by her children, Mike (Jean) Dailey of Sioux City, Johnette Moninger of Dakota City, and Tia (Doug) Baumann of Sioux City; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brothers, Charles and Steven; sisters, Carol and Judy; great-granddaughter, Taylin Dailey; and son-in-law, Douglas Moninger.
