Orville’s service to his country began when he enlisted in the United States Army in 1952, where he proudly served until his honorable discharge in 1954. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Orville had a variety of hobbies and interests that enriched his life. He had a love for yard work and gardening, taking pride in maintaining his home. Orville also enjoyed adventures with Barb in their RV, traveling on cruises, and visiting all 50 states during his journeys. In his younger years, he participated in a bowling league and various card clubs, finding joy in these social activities.

Orville’s loving spirit will be remembered by those who survive him, including his devoted wife of 69 years, Barbara "Barb" Bailey.
