Pamela J. “Pam” Bird, 59, of South Sioux City, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020. Funeral services will be private. A visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. Online condolences may be directed to meyerbroschapels.com.
Pam was born the daughter of Edward F. and Jean K. (Groepper) Bird on August 23, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1979. Pam owned and operated Alley Winery for 26 years until she retired.
She enjoyed boating and anything in the sun, spending time with friends and family, and Husker football.
Pam is survived by her children, Corey O’Neill of Sioux City, Amanda (Chris) Barondeau of Sergeant Bluff, and Brook (Adrian Barrera) O’Neill of South Sioux City; mother, Jean (Roger Van Fossen) Bird of South Sioux City; grandchildren, Madison, Payton, Brady, Kennedy, Raleigh, Hadley, Kingsley, and Kambria; siblings, Michael (Robin) Bird of Dakota City, Cheryl Bird of Homer, and Lori (Tom) White of Kissimmee, Florida; sister-in-law, Shelly Bird of Sergeant Bluff.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward and her brother, Steve.
