Pamela J. Newman, a cherished member of the Sioux City community, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 18, 2024, at the age of 77.
Born on January 6, 1947, in Mapleton,Iowa, she spent her life embodying dedication, warmth, and love for her family and friends.
Pamela was well-known for her significant contributions to the workforce, especially during her tenure at Marx Trucking Company and as a bookkeeper, where her skills and commitment left a lasting impact. Her work ethic was second to none, and she pursued her career with passion.
Pamela was devoted to her family. She shared her life with her beloved husband, Gary Newman, and was a proud mother to her two daughters, Tomi Jo Stolpe of Caledonia, MS, and Sam Alanis Guy of Texas. Pamela fostered an environment of love and support, encouraging her daughters to follow their dreams and passions.
In her leisure time, Pamela found joy in simple pleasures. She loved going to the movie theatre with Gary, where they enjoyed sharing stories and laughter over the latest films. Her hands were often busy with crafts, reflecting her creative spirit. Along with her love for creating, she found solace in the powerful rhythms of hard rock music, which she enjoyed listening to.
Pamela's life will be celebrated during a memorial service to be held on January 6, 2025, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pamela J. Newman leaves behind a legacy of love, family values, and a deep appreciation for life's simple joys. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
