Pamela "Pam" R. Knudsen

Pamela “Pam” R. Knudsen, 64, of Allen, NE, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home.

Private family services will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 at Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca. 

Pam was born June 28, 1956 in Yankton, South Dakota, the daughter of Lawrence and Maxine (Meng) Andersen. She grew up on a farm near Maskell, NE and graduated from Newcastle High School. Shortly after graduation, she married Hans Knudsen. To this union, 2 daughters were born and the family settled in Allen, NE. Pam and Hans later divorced. Pam was a homemaker; she stayed home to raise her children until she began working at Michael Foods in Wakefield where she worked for 30 years.

Pam was a talented cook and baker. She was a dog lover, especially her beloved Bojangles, and bred Cocker Spaniel puppies for many years.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughters Jessica (Ron) Allen of Hubbard, NE and Lacey (Casey Grillet) Knudsen of Martinsburg, NE; grandchildren Madison, Aiden, Gage, Dodge, Remington; sisters Lorraine McCoy of Maskell, NE, Carolyn Carlson of Fremont, NE, Kathy (Phil) Gaukel of Onawa, IA; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
