Pamela was born May 15, 1953 in Sioux City, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Bowlin) Limoges. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Central High School. After finishing school, she began working with special needs children for a few years then worked as a waitress. On August 12, 1977, she married Mark Uden in North Sioux City, SD. To this union, 3 children were born. After marriage, Pamela worked in recover home health care and at Dick’s Bait and Tackle for several years until her retirement.
Pamela enjoyed cooking and fishing. She loved all animals and would frequently feed and rescue stray animals and critters of all sorts. She was incredibly generous; she spent much of her time helping the homeless community of Siouxland by bringing them food, clothing, providing rides, as well as officiating religious services for them at Cook Park. Pamela was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need; she exemplified generosity.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Mark Uden of Sioux City; son Mark (Katelynn) Uden Jr. of Sioux City; brothers Tim Limoges, Dickie (Barb) Limoges, Danny (Tammy) Limoges, Jerry (Yasmine) Limoges, all of Sioux City; sisters Mary Limoges of Sioux City, Karen Anderson of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters LeAnn and Pamela Uden, and granddaughter Rileigh Uden.
