Patricia L. Eslick

Patricia L. Eslick, 76, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at her home.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Sioux City First Church with Pastor Josh Potter and Pastor Jon Millen officiating. Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Online condolences can be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Patricia was born July 23, 1945 in Sioux City, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Wedgewood) McClure. On July 23, 1963, she married Thomas Eslick. To this union, three children were born. She graduated from Hair by Stewarts and became a teacher at the school, an accomplishment she was very proud of. She did hair for many years and was very passionate about her skill. In her later years, she worked at Tyson. The job that meant the most to her was being Pastor Al Wiess’ secretary at Sioux City First.

Patricia was a devoted member of Sioux City First Church. She was a life-long resident of Sioux City other than the one year she lived in Germany. Her passion was her grandkids and great-grandkids; her unconditional love for them was immeasurable!

Those left to honor her memory are her daughter Tami (Mike) Rhodman of Sioux City; sons Tim (Lisa) Eslick of Sioux Falls, SD, and Troy (Cristi) Eslick of Sioux City; grandchildren Megan (Mark) McAllister of Sioux City, Brianna Jo (Mike) Sullivan of Abilene, TX, Amber Eslick of Sioux Falls, SD, Tyler Eslick of Sioux Falls, SD, Austin Eslick of Sioux City, Ashtin Eslick of Sioux City, Allex Eslick of Sioux CIty; great-grandchildren Connor & Ellen, Emmi, Beckett, & Arlo; brother Jack McClure of Kingsley, IA; sister Millie Tietsort of Rockford, IL; and many, many others that her smile touched!

She was preceded in death by her parents Anna & Harry McClure; husband Thomas Eslick; two brothers Richard and Robert McClure; and a grandson Brandon Eslick.

The family would like to express special love and appreciation to Brittney Wilcox. She loved momma as if she was her own. We do not know what we would have done the last two years without her. Momma adored you, sweet girl. Never forget: SHE’LL SEE YOU LATER, GATOR!
