Patricia Jean Mahnke

Patricia Jean Mahnke, 73, of South Sioux City, died Monday, January 11, 2021.  Abiding by her wishes her body has been cremated.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic no public funeral services will be held.  A private graveside service will be held at St. Michael Cemetery.  

Patricia was born the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Langer) Connelly on February 13, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois.  She married Stephen Mahnke on March 28, 1970 and settled in South Sioux City, Nebraska. 

Patricia is survived by her husband, Stephen Mahnke of South Sioux City; children, Jason (Melinda) Mahnke and Cheryl (Chad) Oldenkamp all of Sioux City; grandchildren, Daniel and Jacob Oldenkamp and Katie, Kelsie, and Emily Mahnke all of Sioux City; sisters, Janice (John) Taibl of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois and Julie Suera of Chicago, Illinios; brothers, James (Marge) Connelly of Fishers, Indiana, Timothy Connelly of Thornton, Colorado, and Thomas (Judy) Connelly of Eagle River, Wisconsin; mother-in-law, Betty Mahnke of South Sioux City; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Austin Oldenkamp; and father-in-law, Charles Mahnke.

In lieu of flowers Patricia asks that Masses be said in her memory.
