Patricia Jean "Patty" Skaff

Patricia Jean “Patty” Skaff, 65 of Sioux City passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. 

Patty was born the daughter of John and Jean (Hedlund) Skaff on March 20, 1959 in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from Heelan High School in 1977 and then completed beauty school. Patty married Timothy Sneller. To this union four children were born. They moved around for Tim’s career, making stops in Colorado, Omaha, Kansas City, and Sioux Falls. She’s been in Sioux City for the last 30 years and enjoyed the last 26 years with her longtime companion, Will Denny. 

Patty owned and operated KP Mortgage for several years. She retired after years of property management at Riverfront Apartments in South Sioux City. 

Patty’s life centered around family. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and talking on the phone for hours catching up with her children and siblings. She liked watching Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball, reality TV, and crime shows. She loved sitting out on her back porch watching the squirrels and befriending the racoons. She had many dogs over the years and loved them all, especially Freddy. 

Patty is survived by her children, Brysen Sneller, Sarah Davenport, Timothy and his wife, Heather Sneller, and Cole and his wife, Marsha Sneller; longtime companion, Will Denny; brother, John Jr. and his wife, Patricia Skaff, brother, Mark and his wife, Michelle Skaff, and sister, Mary Skaff; and cherished grandchildren, Gianna, Diana, Thomas, Merrilee Jean, Arielle Jean, Scarlett, and Maela.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas.
