Paul was born the son of Thomas J. and Christine (Gundics) Beaumier on March 10, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. They moved around a bit due to Thomas’s military career, before settling in Sioux City.
Paul worked in security for most of his career for several companies including Interbake and Gateway. He also worked in loss prevention at Wal-Mart.
Paul’s greatest joy came from loving on those who called him grandpa. His grandkids meant the world to him and they could do no wrong in his eyes. He enjoyed being outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, or camping. He loved working on cars and racing, he was a jack of all trades who loved to build things with his hands and he constantly kept himself busy.
Paul is survived by his wife, Kristine Beaumier of Sioux City; children, Matthew Beaumier of Las Vegas and Hollie Beaumier of Mapleton; beloved grandchildren, Bryson Beaumier and Lillyana Jarabek; siblings, Lillian (Gary) Hoesing, Mike (Shelia) Beaumier, Rick (Lea) Beaumier, and Mark Beaumier; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Peter James, Jerry, Tom, and Cliff; and dear friends, Pat and Cliff Goodrich.
