Philip Dean Timmerman

Philip Dean Timmerman, 52, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday July 21, 2021 at a Sioux Falls Hospital following a 3-month long battle with cancer. Private services will be held. Inurnment with military honors will be at Logan Park Cemetery. Philip was born October 7, 1968 in Cherokee, IA, the son of Marvin and Pam Timmerman. He was raised in Sioux City and graduated from West High School. He served in the United States Army for 11 years where he did 2 tours in Iraq and helped with administering the H1N1 in Iraq. Philip worked for the Dakota City Fire and Ambulance and in maintenance at Tyson since 1996. On September 19, 2003, he married Audrey Taylor in Elk Point, SD. Philip enjoyed fishing, hunting, serving in the military, and spending time at home. He collected guns and knives and was a dog lover. He is survived by many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pam Pilecki.
