Ralph Mitchell, Jr.

Ralph Mitchell, Jr., 56, of Sioux City, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his residence. In accordance to his wishes, no local services will be held.

Ralph was born on November 11, 1966 in Rockledge, Florida, to Ralph Mitchell, Sr. and Doris Jean (Davis) Mitchell. He attended Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Florida, where he played drums in the band and also at church.

On July 6, 1995 Ralph married Tonya Fuehrer in Rockledge. The two moved to Sioux City after they wed, and spent years in both Sioux City and Florida near each of their families, before settling in Sioux City for the past several years.

He worked at WinnaVegas Casino Resort for over 15 years, and most recently was working at WyTec.

In his free time, Ralph enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Bear; watching football, especially the Eagles; and eating with, listening to music with, or otherwise spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Tonya Mitchell; two children: Nicholas Mitchell and Taniya Mitchell; two brothers: Warren Mitchell and Curren Mitchell; two grandchildren: Nicholas Jr. “NJ” and Alaysia Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter-in-law, Brittany Mitchell.
