Randy Markee Sr.

Randy R. Markee, Sr., age 67, of North Sioux City, SD, passed away on August 25th, 2022 at his home with family by his side following a short battle with cancer. 

Randy's mother, his children and grandchildren were everything to him.  He was a provider and protector of his family.  He was always ready to protect those he loved and never backed down from a fight.  He was a lover of Harley's, old clocks, trucking, and fishing.  He was the greatest dad, papa, and friend to those that knew him.

Randy was born in Sioux City, IA on May 1st, 1955 and is survived by his mother, Barbara Markee (Whitlock) of Sioux City, IA; sisters, Rita (Charlie) Dorniak of Las Vegas, NV, and Robin (Randy) Fredericksen of North Sioux City, SD; his children, Tracy Fredericksen and Tina (Micheal) Tassler of North Sioux City, SD, Tammy (Ryan) Hovde of Sioux City, IA, Randy Markee, Jr of Beresford, SD, Brittney (Chris) Everett and Wyatt Markee of Minnesota, Anna Markee of Sioux City, IA, and Cody Markee of Yankton, SD; his grandchildren, Kevin, Dylan, Brooklynn, Hunter, Brenna, Jarrett, Alexander, Katalina, Johnathan, Kristina, Isaac, Kishonna, and soon to be Addelyn; and his  great-grandchildren, Rowen, Mason, Wesley,  and a soon to be baby boy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Markee and brothers Rodney and Roy. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
