Rhonda C. Wishmier

Rhonda C. Wishmier, 58, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at a local hospital.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 12:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.Rhonda was born on September 1, 1958 in Escondido, CA, the daughter of Freeman Garrett and Ramona Weber. She graduated from Tri West High School in Lizton, IN. Rhonda married Mark Wishmier in 1978 in Brownsburg, IN. They moved to Germany while Mark was in the service then back to Brownsburg. Mark passed away in 1985. Rhonda worked as a legal secretary for McCaffrey-McCaw Law Firm for many years. She moved to the Sioux City area where she worked as a bartender/waitress in the Siouxland area before working for Stream/Convergy's.She enjoyed spending time with her family, working on arts and crafts, and collecting unicorns and butterflies.Survivors include her common law husband, Mark Klouda of Sioux City, IA; her son, Luke Wishmier of Brownsburg, IN; step-son, Brandon Lee Klouda of Sioux City, IA; step-granddaughter, Alexis Ruth Klouda; siblings, Frank (Nette) Cuevas of San Antonio, TX, Tony (Annette) Abney of Dakota City, NE and Patricia (Paul) Ireland of Willis, NE; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Freeman Garrett and Ramona Weber; her husband, Mark Wishmier; her fiancé, David Redman; and grandmother, Ruth Ferraris.Honorary urn bearers will be Luke Wishmier, Brandon Lee Klouda, Frank Cuevas, Paul Ireland, nephew, Bobby Abney and niece, Kristina Shetler.
