Richard G. Rossmar

Richard Rossmar passed away on December 17, 2024 in Gilbert, Arizona. Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.

Richard Gerald Rossmar was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on September 23,1938, to William and Elizabeth (Besch) Rossmar. He grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Heelan High School in 1957. After graduation Richard served in the U.S. Navy and then was an electrician for many years in Sioux City. Richard lived in Mesa, AZ and enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting, and hanging out with his many friends.

Richard is survived by his sister, Rose Marie Hoffman of Columbus, NE; niece, Deanna Hoffman of Columbus, NE; nephew, Chris (Julie) Hoffman of Columbus, NE; nephew, Tom Hoffman of Tulsa, OK; and niece, Heidi (Joe) Plance of Omaha, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Rossmar; infant brother, Francis Rossmar; daughter, Rhonda Rossmar; and son, Billy Rossmar.
