Rita C. Deming

Rita C. Deming, 69, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at a Sioux Falls, SD hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2021 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.  Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Rita was born May 15, 1952 in Calbayog City, Samar, Philippines, the daughter of Concepcion Cinco.  She married John Thomas Deming on April 8, 1991 in Olongapo City, Philippines.  Rita enjoyed making jewelry, drawing, crocheting, sewing, playing chess, and singing karaoke.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who meant the world to her.   She was a member of the Rustin Ave. Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. 

Survivors include her husband John Deming of Sioux City; children:  Sabrina Deming of Sioux City, John (Tina) Bellis-Deming of Sioux City, Rose Ann (Eagle) Armstrong of Sgt. Bluff, IA, Lucile (Eric) Barber of Sioux City and Angeline Garcia of the Philippines; grandchildren:  Cole, Landon, Logan, Lilly, Carter, Emma, Ember, John David, and Micaela.
