He was a pillar of strength and resilience, never once complaining about his long and arduous 58-year battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. His unwavering spirit served as an inspiration to those around him, teaching them the true meaning of courage and positivity in the face of adversity.
Outside of work and his military service, Bob enjoyed a rich tapestry of hobbies and interests. Above all, Bob cherished the moments spent with his family, creating bonds that would withstand the test of time. His love for music added yet another layer to his vibrant personality, enhancing the joyful atmosphere he cultivated in his home.
Bob leaves behind his devoted wife, Kathy Deignan, of Sioux City; sons: Patrick Deignan and Tim (Brandie) Deignan, both of Sioux City; two beloved grandchildren, Emily Deignan of Tempe, AZ, and Kellen Deignan of Sioux City; and two sisters, Maureen Norton and Marilyn O'Donnell, who held a special place in his heart.
