Robert Lee Davis

   Robert Lee Davis, 56, of Sioux City died unexpectedly on Friday, December 3, 2021.

  Cremation rites will be accorded.  A private memorial service will be held in the spring.  Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.

   Robert Lee Davis, son of Robert C. and Karen A. (Townsend) Davis, was born December 17, 1964 in Sioux City.  He attended Sioux City Schools.  Following high school, he attended Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City and Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs.  He worked in the auto parts business in Council Bluffs for two years.  In Sioux City, he worked in food service.  Robert was employed for five years at St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City doing maintenance work through a private contractor.  From May 2016 to May 2019, he worked at Culvers.

   As a young person, he enjoyed going to his grandparent’s lake cabin in South Dakota, fishing, swimming, and riding motor bikes.  He also enjoyed collecting antiques and memorabilia.  He loved cats.

   Robert is survived by his mom and stepdad, Karen (Howard) Nelson of Sioux City and his dad, Robert C. Davis of North Sioux City, SD.

   He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
