Robert P. "Bob" Miller

   Robert P. “Bob” Miller, 66 of Sioux City, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, November 1, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation with the family present will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

   Bob was born on October 10, 1955, in LeMars, IA to Robert W. and Marion (Eberle) Miller. Bob was the oldest of four children and always said he laid the groundwork for his siblings to follow. Upon graduating from Gehlen Catholic School in 1974, he continued to work with his Dad at Bob Miller Construction in Merrill, IA for over 20 years. In 1994, he decided to go into the custom cabinetry business by purchasing Pioneer Cabinetry Inc. Pioneer Cabinetry has been a family business for 27 years. It is our team of dedicated employees, loyal dealer base, and clients who trust our workmanship along with networking in several organizations that will continue to make Pioneer Cabinetry a success in the future. Bob developed a solid foundation through dedication, determination, and perseverance.

   Bob married Robin Jones on July 14, 1984, and to this union three daughters were born: Janine, Ashley, and Courtney. Bob has a daughter from his first marriage, Heather Sidle.

   Survivors include his wife, Robin, of Sioux City; his children: Heather Sidle of Rapid City, SD; Janine (Jeff) Gacke of Sgt. Bluff, IA; Ashley (Josh) Feste of Lawton, IA; and Courtney Miller of Sioux City, IA; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild due in December; sisters: Mary (Jeff) Driggs of LeMars, IA and Amy (Jim) Nilles of Merrill, IA.

   Bob was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; and brother, Michael Miller.

    Bob loved entertaining, whether that was grilling for family or friends, going on a motorcycle run, or a vacation trip with friends. Bob was dedicated to his family and will be remembered for his fun-loving attitude and zest for life. His famous last words, “One more and we gotta go!”
