Rosemarie Kleinwolterink, 77, of Sioux City, passed away May 25, 2021 at a local hospital. A private family service will be held, followed by a public visitation on Friday, May 28 from 2-4:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Rosemarie was born on June 6, 1943 in Oakland, CA to Henry and Margaret (Delgado) Hernandez. She moved to Sioux City in 1967 and met her future husband, Rodney. On July 22, 1968 she was united in marriage to Rodney Kleinwolterink in Sioux City. Together they enjoyed traveling and going for drives in the country. Rosemarie loved the ocean and never missed a chance to visit the coast. Rosemarie worked as a project manager and assistant director with the Siouxland Area Agency on Aging working on various projects and acquiring grant funding for the senior living community. She also enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, bible studies, playing cards and going to the farmers market.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband Rod Kleinwolterink, Sioux City; daughter, Laura Vujosevic (Bijan) West Windsor, NJ; and grandson, Nikolas Vujosevic.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother.
