Rosemary Larson, 94, of South Sioux City passed away Monday, April 22, 2019. Graveside services were held Thursday, April 25, 2019. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Rosemary was born July 5, 1924 in Sioux City, the daughter of Charles and Lena (Dierking) Mitchell. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1942. Rosemary married Kenneth Larson on September 18, 1949 at the First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. They were blessed with 3 daughters.
Rosemary and Ken celebrated their 50th anniversary with their family on a Caribbean cruise.
Rosemary worked at several banks as a teller, head teller, and an officer. Rosemary loved taking care of her home. She liked decorating, crafting, and reading. She was also a fantastic cook. Rosemary liked to travel, shop, and play bridge.
Left to honor her memory are her three daughters: Laurie, Laurene, and Debbie; three grandchildren: Michelle, Megan, and Nick; five great-grandchildren; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, and her parents: Charles and Lena Mitchell.
