Ruthie Ann Boeshart

Ruthie Ann Boeshart, 73, of Ponca, NE passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca, Nebraska with Reverend Sandra Braasch officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at the church.  Burial will be at Calvary at South Creek Cemetery in rural Ponca.  Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com. 

Ruthie was born on August 6^th, 1949, in Ponca, NE to George and Amy (Gunderson) Lamprecht.  She was baptized at Salem Lutheran Church.  She attended County 13 country school and graduated from Ponca high school in 1967. 

Ruthie married George Boeshart on May 28^th, 1969, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ponca, NE.  To this union two children, Brian and Becky, were born.  She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church.

Ruthie worked at IBP for several years until she began working at Centennial Lanes in 1992, owned and operated Druzak’s from 2004 until 2008; and was currently employed at Elm’s Healthcare.

Ruthie was an avid gardener, had a love for her cats and dogs, she was a caregiver to many over the years, amazing cook and was always creating a special treat for her grandkids, she always had homemade buns ready for anyone to enjoy.  Ruthie had a love for her family, golfing, bowling, mowing, being outdoors and playing cards. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. 

Ruthie is survived by her son, Brian (Shannon) of Wakefield, NE; her daughter Becky (Mike) Walters of Garland, NE; 6 Grandchildren Drew, Zachary, Luke, Jake, Tori and Cody.  4 great grandchildren Attalie, Bella, Maddox, and Charli; brothers Wayne Lamprecht of Ponca; Jim (Terri) Lamprecht of Ponca; Bob (Sally) Lamprecht of Ponca; sisters Karen (Lamprecht) Rush of Ponca, Susie (Lamprecht) Golden of Ponca; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband George Boeshart, her father George Lamprecht; her mother Amy (Gunderson) Lamprecht; father in-law Earl Boeshart; mother in-law Bernice (Casey) Boeshart; brother-in-law John Golden; brother in-law John Rush; sister-in-law Carol Lamprecht; Nephew Kevin Rush, Niece Kim (Lamprecht) Dohma.
