Sandra Ann "Sandy" Buster

   Sandra “Sandy” Ann Buster, 79, of Sioux City, Iowa, went home to Jesus on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

   Sandy was born October 30, 1942, to Margaret and Myron Nelson. Sandy married Jack Arthur Buster on September 4, 1970. She and Jack had three daughters, Amy, Elizabeth, and Heather.  Sandy was a homemaker while her daughters were young and then began a teaching career in the Sioux City Community School District. 

   Sandy is survived by her three daughters: Amy, Elizabeth, and Heather; her cherished grandson, Craig Harris; brother-in law, James Buster and his wife, Susie; their children: Matt, Jennifer, and Molly. Additionally, surviving Sandy are numerous beloved Van Waart, Knudson, and Myers relatives, and Jacky & Pat Leamer.

   Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and her in-laws: James S. and Charlotte Buster.

   Many thanks and hearts filled with gratitude extended to Dr. Thomas Schryver and Northside Family Health Care, Dr. Loya & Unity Point 5A Staff, Holy Spirit Retirement Home, and Hospice of Siouxland for the care, compassion and loving kindness provided to Sandy and her family.
