Scott was born July 31, 1988, in Tacoma, WA, the son of Scott Fisher Sr. and Michelle (Baker) Eygabroad-Lewis. He graduated from Rainier High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps; he was an instructor of Assault Amphibious Vehicles (YAT-YAS). While serving, his two sons Karson and Jensen were born and brought him immense happiness. He was honorably discharged in 2015, but at heart, he always remained a Marine. In 2018, Scott met the love of his life, Maggie Rooney, and they began building their lives together in Sioux City, IA.
Scott’s presence in a room was undeniable and he was frequently the life of the party. He was never one to turn down any challenge, bet, or dare if it would cause a good laugh. Scott always had a positive attitude, great character, and a heart of gold. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and his dogs, especially Freedom. Scott was frequently found golfing, fishing, shooting guns, and watching 80’s movies. His love of candy made him a favorite with his nieces and nephews. Scott was a true patriot and loved to celebrate America which was represented daily in his red, white, and blue wardrobe. His enthusiasm for America was contagious and caused you to love America just that little bit more. Scott was a generous person, and he was always one phone call away if you were in need.
It is not how long a man lives, but how deep that life is. Scott will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Survivors include his fiancé, Maggie Rooney; mother, Michelle (Brett) Eygabroad-Lewis; stepfather, John Eygabroad; two sons: Karson and Jensen Fisher; siblings: Brandon Eygabroad, Kayla (John) Johnson, Kelsey (Devin) Eygabroad, Todd Eygabroad, and Travis Eygabroad; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Freedom.
Scott was preceded in death by his father Scott Fisher Sr.
