Scott Charles Reed, 52, of South Sioux City, NE passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA on Tuesday, on October 7, 2014.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Rev. Pete Speiser officiating. Burial will be in Dakota City Cemetery in Dakota City, NE. Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.Scott was born in Sioux City, IA on December 28, 1961, the son of Charles and Glenna (Edwards) Reed. He graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1980. He married Terri Miller. To this union two daughters, Danielle and Hannah, were born.Scott enjoyed playing and watching all sports, and spending time with his family.Survivors include his mother and step-father, Glenna and Bill Brockhaus; daughters, Danielle Reed and Hannah (Shyne) Harder; two grandchildren, Shaelynn and Taven; brothers, Shane (Tamara) Reed and Stan (April) Reed; and several nieces and nephews.Scott was preceded in death by his father, Charles Reed.In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family for memorial designations to be determined at a later time.
