Sherri D. Ullrich

After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Sherri D. Ullrich, 71, of Dakota City, NE, passed away surrounded by her family on October 29, 2021.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 2^nd at 11:30 A.M. at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Dakota City Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Sherri was born on August 21, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA to Ralph and Martha Milhan.  Attended The University of Northern Iowa where she received a degree in teaching.  She worked for various Iowa schools one of which being Maple Valley, it was in Mapleton that she met her husband. She was united in marriage to Raymond Ullrich on August 2, 1980 in Mapleton, IA.  Sherri and her family moved to Dakota City in 1990. Throughout her life she worked as a business education teacher, spending the majority of her career at the Sergeant Bluff-Luton School District where she happily retired in 2012.  After retirement she enjoyed spending her winters in Arizona, crafting, and thrifting.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Raymond Ullrich, Dakota City, NE; children: Melissa Ullrich, Omaha, NE, and Matthew Ullrich, Phoenix, AZ; and her mother, Martha Milhan, Sioux City, IA

She is preceded in death by her father.
