Spyridon Christos Kritis

Spyridon C. Kritis, 85, of Sioux City passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his residence following a long term illness. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2020 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Spyridon was born on January 5, 1935 in Amfilochia, Greece to Christos and Vasseleki Kritis. He graduated from school and went on to serve in the military.

He came to America in 1971 and resided in Omaha, Nebraska, where he worked as a tailor prior to moving to Sioux City and working at IBP in Dakota City, Nebraska for more than 20 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Christos and his wife Ashley; and their daughters: Mia, Brayli, Haylie, Kiyah and Maddie; all from Sioux City.
